Born in Mumbai, Shromona grew up in Nairobi, Kenya. She graduated in Psychology from Frostburg State University (FSU) in Maryland, USA, obtaining a summa cum laude (highest distinction) with a GPA (grade point average) of 3.975 out of 4, appearing in the Dean’s List of Honor in all 8 semesters. She is presently pursuing her Masters in Counseling Psychology at FSU.

Shromona is also a research assistant in the Department of Psychology at FSU and a member of Psi Chi (American National Honors Society in Psychology).

In addition to her interest in music and dance, Shromona has a flair for poetry and has written over 50 poems. Her poetry flows from the heart, some of which is reproduced on her website - www.shromona.com.
